About TEDxAMU

Our Mission & Vision

TEDxAMU is a student-led initiative dedicated to creating a TED-like experience at Aligarh Muslim University. Our mission is to bring together bright minds to share ideas worth spreading. We aim to provide a platform where technology, entertainment, and design converge to inspire innovation, foster learning, and provoke conversations that matter.

Our Inaugural Event

This year marks the inaugural TEDxAMU event, born from the passion and dedication of our team of students committed to bringing the global TEDx experience to our historic university. As we launch our first event, we are laying the foundation for what we hope will become a significant intellectual tradition at Aligarh Muslim University. Our goal is to create an inspiring atmosphere and connect our community with a world of ideas.

This Year's Theme: Education, Entertainment & Entrepreneurship

Our theme is "Education, Entertainment & Entrepreneurship," a concept that explores the transformative power that lies at the intersection of knowledge, personal agency, and innovation. We believe this theme is particularly relevant today as it highlights the journey from learning to leading, and we are excited to see how our speakers will interpret it, sharing their unique perspectives and groundbreaking ideas.
